The Journal of Computing Science and Engineering (JCSE) invites proposals for Special Issues on emerging and significant topics in computing and information technologies.
Special Issues provide an opportunity to spotlight specific research areas that are rapidly evolving or of broad interest to the computing community. Guest editors are encouraged to propose themes that foster novel contributions, interdisciplinary dialogue, or focus on current trends and challenges.

Proposal Guidelines |
Each proposal should include the following:
Title of the Special Issue
Description of the theme and its relevance (300-500 words)
Scope of the topics to be covered
Rationale for the timeliness and significance of the topic
List of potential topics and subthemes
Short bios of the guest editors, including previous editorial experience (if any)
Tentative timeline (Call for papers, submission deadline, review process, and final decision date)
The number of papers to publish (More than 5 papers is recommended)

Selection Criteria |
Proposals will be evaluated based on:
Relevance and novelty of the theme
Potential to attract high-quality submissions
Expertise and diversity of the guest editorial team
Feasibility of the proposed timeline |

Responsibilities of Guest Editors |
Preparing and disseminating the Call for Papers
Managing the review process in coordination with the JCSE editorial office
Ensuring a rigorous peer review and adherence to ethical standards
Writing an editorial introduction to the Special Issue |
